4/16/10 - Welcome
aboard Carl and Sheila Sheng as new partners/co-owners!
Carl and Sheila will be heading up the day to day
operations in the gym moving forward. Joe Schnur has been
promoted to Director of Training and will be coaching next
season's Senior Coed Level 5 Worlds Team...Hurricanes! Also a
HUGE welcome new coaches Jenna (Gymnast Tumble Instructor) and
Alaina (Former UCA Camp Instructor)! Get ready for the biggest
all star cast of World Class coaches in the 2010-2011 season!
3/15/10 - The ELITE do it again! Spirit
Cheer results: Tiny 1st, Mini 1st, Youth 1st, Junior 1st, Senior
Open 1st, Senior 2 2nd, Junior Hip Hop 2nd. Definitely heard the
audience buzzing every time we took the floor, large teams
packed with the area's best talent and best fans! Next stop
All-Levels and Worlds, and we're ready as ever!

2/21/10 - Congrats Tiny's and Mini's for winning Grand Champions
at UPA Nationals! Both teams went home
with Grand Champion Jackets! Also a Great Job to Junior Level 3
Fury who took 2nd place in Grand Championship Round!

1/28/10 - Welcome new instructors Mel DelRosario and Ashley
Sisko!
Melvin del Rosario, new Twister
Elite tumbling instructor. Past experience cheering 4 years
varsity at Maine East high school, 2 years at ICE Athletics (now
the Illinois Cheer Company) and 1 year at the University of
Illinois at Chicago. He has been coaching for 4 years and
competing at Cheer Illinois Athletics; USASF Certified Level 5
in all areas. Specializing in tumbling and stunting with
insight on all aspects of cheerleading, his goal is to provide
another voice and set of eyes for the Twisters to help better
the program in any way possible. Hard work, progression and
achievement is what he loves to do, see, and aid with.
Ashley
Sisko, new Twister Elite flying instructor, has 7 years of
flying experience at the all star, high school, and collegiate
level. She has cheered for Naperville All Stars, Naperville
Central High School (varsity all 4 years, IHSA State contestant
3 years), Hope College, and Cheer Illinois Athletics. Also,
experience with ICE Athletics (now Illinois Cheer Company) and
Top Gun. Specializing in stunting with an inside perspective
into all other aspects of cheerleading as a retired gymnast and
dancer of 11 years. Her goal is to provide flyers with specific
and understandable tips, in order to mold a good flyer into a
great flyer, while also helping bases, the foundation of great
flyers. With a love and passion for cheerleading and coaching,
she hopes to assist this program in its entirety.
1/26/10 - Big News in the Tumbling Program!
Announcing the NEW Twisters Tumbling Academy! With the influx of
new talent coming our way, we've hired 3 new highly qualified
coaches to focus on training! 2 can spot up to double fulls and
standing fulls, 2 specialize in flyer/stunt training. Check our
Classes page for the new tumble schedule and to get registered
for February classes! To get the full on scoop, talk to
Director's Carl or Joe at the gym!

Welcome to 2010! What a GREAT year!
We welcome all the new interest in the program with calls and
new talent visiting the gym! If you are thinking of joining
Twisters as tumble students and/or team members, please feel
