Training:

Begins January 5th (Registration is Due December 15th).

Practices Days and Times are Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30pm-8pm.

Competitions:

Spirit Cheer Nationals 2/21-22 & Athletic Championship Nationals 3/28-4/1

Competition Fees are included in Registration Fee.

Registration Fees:

All Inclusive Fee...Includes Performance Outfit, Cheer Shoes, Registration, & Training!

3 Installments of $130 are due January 1st, February 1st, and March 1st.

12/1 New Classes & Private Cheer Coaching Effective December 8th!

 

Flyer Training Class:

Mondays 5 to 6 & Tuesdays 5 to 6

Strongly recommended for all flyers.

Curriculum:

-Flexibility, Strength and Balance Training.

-(Proper stretching techniques, core strength training, proper posture)

-Body position training. (Achieve and perfect Xtreme body positions such as Bow and Arrow, Front Stretch, Scorpion, Needle, etc.)

-Transitions, (proper weight distribution)

-Dismounts, Full Down and Double Down training on Trampoline.

-Performance coaching (Posture, presence, facials, etc.)

 

Private Cheer Coaching (Performance Coaching)

Available Mondays from 6 to 7:30 or Thursdays from 5 to 6.

 

Curriculum:

-Private coaching focusing on elements from your routine.

-Perfect your motions, cheer, tumble pass, jumps and dance. 

-Add that “performance-WOW factor”  Learn how to impress the judges with proper transitions, facials, posture and presence! 

-Help your team achieve higher Overall Performance scores!

-Learn better practicing habits to get more from your weekly cheer practices.

-Conditioning and Endurance training to help you perform your routine with ease.

 

11/16 - Wow what a big week! First...thanks to Joe Wicinski our Twister Dude for finding a GREAT deal on our new mirror wall and installing them in the downstairs gym! Just in time for Chris from Top Gun's routine polishing clinics Fri that lead us to SEVEN - 1ST PLACE VICTORIES and ONE VERY STRONG SECOND PLACE @ NCA Regional Championship in Lake Zurich.

 

11/8 - The Make Up Instructional Video has now been uploaded to our Video page. Please click Video link above to the right to watch and learn how to apply your daughter's make up for competitions.

 

10/30 - Happy Halloween! Keep in mind Open gym is CLOSED Halloween - Christmas Break. So no open gyms until January.

 

10/19 - Wow! Great performance at the Illinois Showdown by our local teams! Junior 3 large took 2nd and Junior 2 took first in their divisions. Also a special thanks to Javi & Sean from Top Gun Allstars who came in for some killer tumble clinics this weekend! They will be missed but they WILL be back!

 

10/4 - Top Gun is coming back in October & November! On October 18th we are very happy to have Javi back in the gym along with a 14-year Top Gun tumble coach and team veteran! They will be running an intense tumble training clinic for each level. November 14th, 15th, and 16th; Chris from Top Gun will work with our year round travel teams for a dress rehearsal. He will then accompany us to NCA in Lake Zurich and help warm up our teams at the competition. We are very excited to have this opportunity to be working with 3 time World Champions Top Gun Allstars and Bring it On movie celebrities! We know our athletes will love having them back as well!

10/2 - Our resident TV/Movie stars Kayla & Alayna Malec are making headlines again! Those of you who have toddlers may know Miss Lori from PBS kids and her friend Hooper the guinea pig.  Kayla landed a gig as one of her CAMPUS Kids over the weekend.  She's already began extensive rehearsals learning some pretty tough dance moves for her first appearance as a CAMPUS kid next weekend.  In addition to this, also over the weekend Kayla and Alayna won a Nintendo Wii from this year's Luna Carpet contest. Alayna appeared in her first commercial for Qwest communications. 

 

10/1 - Welcome all new athletes and families who joined the program last week! We know the dozen or so of you will have a blast cheering for Twisters! Welcome to the team. We're proud to offer high quality training from coaches with proven track records of success at the lowest price possible. We're even more proud to see our new recruits progressing further...faster. 9/18 - Welcome new and highly experienced tumble coach Chris Johnson! He will be filling in as needed during the tumble schedule, be sure to jump in a class to meet and greet!

 

9/17 - Welcome new Full Time Coach Marisa DiMaso! Marisa just took on a new full time position with us and will be working inside all practices to help further our progression. We are extremely excited to have her aboard as she has more 1st place victories than you can shake a spirit stick at!

 

9/8 - September 19th-21st we are honored to be working with George Carrillo from Worlds team Brandon Allstars and WSF. The 2nd in our series of celebrity choreographers coming in to work with our athletes. Stay tuned to binders for the mandatory 4 hour practice for each team.

 

9/7 - Accessory Packs are due in early October. We also have a new design on Black Tshirts and Hoodies for both athletes, moms, and dads. Plus TE practice shorts are in! Visit our Merchandise page for a sneak peak!

 

9/6 - Wow! What a showing at Six Flags! 5 First places and 3 second places! Thanks to all the Superfans who came out to support. Great job up in the stands! "Great Fans" was even mentioned on our score sheets! Be sure to check out our Photos and Video pages in the next few days. We're receiving a flood of calls and emails from athletes/families wanting to join after this past weekend's performances...now is the perfect time to work new team members into our routines! 9/4 - Pep Rally was a SMASH HIT! Thanks to all the family and friends who came out. Be sure to view our photos page. Great team work on all ends.

8/19 - The TE Beach Bash was a big hit! Thanks to Angela Scott for setting this event up at her clubhouse property on the chain. Lots of fun! Be sure to look at all the pictures.

 

7/30 - We'd like to welcome the large influx of new athletes joining Twisters Elite the past 3 weeks! We welcome you to our fun, friendly, family atmosphere where your athletes will progress in their abilities, stay competitive, yet also go home from practice having had fun with their new friends!

 

7/29 - Welcome WORLD CHAMPION Choreographers Chris, Javier, & Triana! Top Gun is in town and creating mind blowing routines! Be sure to check the photos page for pictures uploaded daily. Oh by the way...they just told us that all 3 of them were in the latest Bring it On movie!!!

 

7/20 - Thanks to all the Twisters, Superfans, and Families who came out for the last minute schedule addition McHenry Fiesta Days Parade! 7/7 - Twisters Elite made the News Sun Antioch Parade article today! "Although they were not throwing candy out to the crowd, the Twisters Elite cheer and dance group caught the audience's attention. The girls were a blur of pink  in an exhibition that involved throwing and catching each other. A cowbell kept time as they cheered loudly while the audience clapped along."

 

7/6 - Congrats to Tiny team member Liliana Tosado for being crowned Tiny Miss Round Lake Area 2008 on June 29th!

7/1 - Congrats to Cheyanne for taking home a tumbling National Champion Title! Also congrats to Jenna, Becca, and Rayna  for also placing well under some fierce competition at tumbling Nationals!

6/23 - Congrats to Aliya (Best Playwear) and Casadee (Best Model) who took home awards @ the Little Miss Antioch Pageant! Casadee is pictured on the Left and Aliya to the Right.

 

6/20 - Congrats to Katie Sobeski for making both Western University's  All Girl and Coed Cheerleading teams which proves once again, you don't have to cheer high school to make a college team!

 

6/1 - Congratulations Rebecca Klumak (Senior Level 5) for being one of the few in all of Chicagoland selected to represent Ms. Philippine Independence 2008! She won her pageant and now represents the Chicagoland Philippine Community as Ms. Manila! She hopes her involvement with the outreach programs of PWC can make a difference in under privileged children in Manila. Twisters Elite wishes her the best of luck in this new adventure!

 

 

 

4/6 - Congrats on 6 out of 8 1st Place National Championship Victories @ Athletic National Championships in Chicago! What a big way to end the season! A HUGE thank you and congrats to Mini's and coach Tonia for a Grand National Champion victory and taking home the 6 ft trophy! Congrats to Senior 3 for never giving up and pulling up from 3rd place to 1st place! Tiny's and Youth Hip Hop both had tough competition and won well deserved National Champion titles. Youth, Juniors, & Senior 5 all had impressive performances as well! Here are the stats:

3/21 - Congrats to Senior 5 for taking home a USASF Worlds Bid! We're passing on this year's bid but gearing up for next season's World Championship with all the new tumblers calling in.

 

2/17 - Senior 3 and Junior 4 come home JamLive! Champions from Detroit! Also Kara Diamond from Senior 5 and CJ Sheng from Mini (Pictured) take home the Celebrity Standout awards! Congrats and great job everyone this weekend!

 

2/12 - Announcing Disney Nationals in spring of 2009! (Next Season) Thanks to your majority vote for next season's competition schedule. There is a catch though, only teams who earn bids to the event are allowed to attend unless we find an appealing alternative Open Nationals at Disney. Team that do not obtain bids will attend Kalahari Nationals in Wisconsin Dells.

 

2/10 - Long time no update :) Ok well here's the Months worthy news...

- Senior 5 took Grand Champions @ Springfield Go BIG! Nationals

- Twisters dads installed a new spring floor and 9 more rolls of mats were ordered

   so they don't have to load and unload trucks every weekend for competitions.

- The spotting rig is installed!

- Mini's took 1st with competition in Springfield!

- Junior 4 Coed moves to Junior 5 Coed for Nationals season!

- 2 New fundraisers are in progress now!

- Recruiter camps kick off!

- Bring a Friend Nights bring in tons of new faces!

- We welcome new Youth 3 coach Jessica who worked last summer's camps and clinics!

 

1/6 - New ELITE Shining Star program! All Twisters making ELITE status (getting their full twisting layout on the floor) will now be getting their own custom designed star with team picture and name up on our lobby walls! Stars for current ELITE status team members are going up soon.

 

1/1 - Welcome to 2008! We'd like to thank you all again for making Twisters Elite one of the best spirited teams in Illinois. 2007 has been an amazing year! Here is a list of our top 2007 accomplishments:

-Opened our 2nd facility twice the size as the 1st.

-Small Senior 3 grew to a maxed out Large Senior 3 Jamfest National Champion team.

-Jamfest spirit award.

-Started our first Senior L5 team.

-Hired World Champions Stingray and Gym Tyme to choreograph.

-Designed the voted best new uniform in the area for the 2007/2008 season.

-Clean swept SixFlags NCA.

-Won Pre-Game performance @ Bulls competition.

-Recruited our official Gymnast/Fitness Instructor Coach Mary

-Welcomed new coaches and coordinator (best staff yet!) who stepped up and rose greatly to the challenge.

 

12/2 - SENIOR 4 (INT. OPEN L5) PERFORMS PRE-GAME at the United Center for the Chicago Bulls, a once in a lifetime experience! Congrats to all TE teams for a super fun time at the Chicago Bulls Classic. Video links will be on our Video page plus pictures on the Photos page soon.

6/27 - Mini's Kayla Malec was crowned “Little Miss Peanut” of Richmond and Spring Grove on June 20^th, 2007. Kayla competed against 14 girls ages 6-9.  Each contestant was judged based on their poise, personality and how well they could answer 7 unrehearsed questions. Kayla was awarded with a beautiful crown, silk sash, memorable pendant, flowers, and a gift bag full of all sorts of girlie goodies, an American Girl Doll, and all of its accessories. Congratulations!!!!!!
